Dear PC members,
thank you once more for agreeing to serve on the program committee of
ISSAC'19. I am looking forward to working with you.
We are about to release the first call for papers. It would be great if
you could help to propagate it among your colleagues.
Here is a short preview of the upcoming steps. Further details will be
announced later.
1) Abstract and full paper deadline are Sun Jan 13 and Sun Jan 20,
respectively. We are prepared to have them extended to Sun Jan 20 and
Sun Jan 27, respectively.
2) After the (extended) abstract deadline, I plan to assign each paper
to two PC members, one "primary" and one "secondary". The primary member
shall organize two reports, the secondary member one.
3) All reports should be received by March 20. After this, we have
roughly 10 days for identifying clear and borderline cases. The decision
about the bordeline cases will be made by a vote.
4) I would like to avoid a formal rebuttal phase and conditional
accepts. Instead, when we need some clarification from the authors, let
us contact them on an individual and informal basis.
5) Notification is scheduled for Wed April 3. Authors will have to have
their final versions ready by Fri May 10.
As usual, the whole process will be managed via EasyChair. I have
already added you as PC members. Please check if you can log in as PC
member to the ISSAC'19 installation, and if you have difficulties,
please let me know.
