The conference on near-rings and near-fields in 2007 will be organized by the Institute of Algebra at the Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria.

Conference fees

The conference fee is 80 EUR per participant of the scientific program and 30 EUR per accompanying person. It includes the evening reception on Monday, July 23rd, the excursion to Gmunden on Wednesday, July 25th, and the social dinner on Friday, July 27th. The fee for the excursion to Steyr on Thursday, July 26th, is 15 EUR.

How to submit the title of your talk and your abstract

We ask you to submit the title of your talk and your abstract to the ATLAS of mathematical conference abstracts (http://atlas-conferences.com/cgi-bin/abstract/submit/catw-01) by July, 10th, 2007. After acceptance, the abstract can be viewed at http://atlas-conferences.com/cgi-bin/abstract/catw-01.

The lecture hall is equipped with two blackboards, an overhead projector, a computer, and a video beamer that can all be used in parallel. If you want to use our computer during your presentation, we ask you to bring a .pdf-file on a CD-ROM, DVD, or a USB-stick. In case you use a computer, please contact the organizers in time so that we can make sure that your presentation can be shown in the way you planned.

Workshop

Preceding the conference, there will be a workshop "An Introduction to Near-rings and Closed Function Systems". This workshop is intended to give an introduction into the theory of near-rings, its connections to the theory of clones, and the computer-aided investigation of function near-rings.
